Good Luck

I am just taking this opportunity to wish two people I know, hopefully they won't mind me calling them freinds, the very best of luck for their CCIE Labs which they are taking.

Both have been working extremely hard in their respective studies and I admire them both greatly. They both deserve it and I am sure they will be successful.

Gabriel Bryson is taking the CCIE Security Lab on Wednesday 12th May 2010 and Jennifer Huber is taking the CCIE Wireless Lab on Tbhursday 13th May 2010.

About Me

I have been involved in wireless since 2003 and I am currently working for Cisco in the UK and further afield on various major Wi-Fi projects.

I am involved in the design, consultation, implementation and optimisation of WLANs across Europe and Africa working on high density and enterprise deployments.

Projects I have worked on include a global rollout for a financial enterprise to over 100 sites, branch deployments to over 2000 sites and stadium deployments including the 2012 London Olympics and the 96000 seat Africa World Cup Final stadium Soccer City in Soweto.

I have been studying the CCIE and CWNE on and off for a period of time, due to the pressures of work, and will be focusing on them over the coming months along with using this blog to highlight some of the learning experiences etc I have over the coming months as well as some of the more day to day challenges of implementing WLANs.
